Introduction

Atheist Appreciation Day - October 5 (every year) October 5 is the date of Atheist Appreciation Day.  It has become a fine tradition that is observed annually.  The tradition is simple, just say or write "No Comment" (in any language) to subtly express your appreciation to all atheists everywhere.

Avoidance (rather than observance)

For those of you who don't want to express appreciation of atheism, it's also very easy, you just need to make sure that you don't say "No Comment" on October 5th, either intentionally or unintentionally.  (In particular, politicians who don't want to show appreciation for atheists may need to re-schedule all public appearances and interviews to avoid using the phrase "No Comment" accidentally and giving the wrong impression to some of their supporters.)
